Spring Shoes 2019

Hey guys,

So I know it might seem like I talk about shoes a lot but I did work for a shoe store for almost 2 years and I also am just obsessed with shoes! They come in so many different styles and colors, it's very hard to resist some of them! Anyways, I just wanted to write up a quick post about the shoes I'm currently craving for spring!

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Spring Shoes 2019

I have a pair that look just like these but they are by a different brand and I love them! They are also in Cognac so I would love these in Black.

I think these are super cute and the price isn't too bad considering they are Kate Spade! I don't have any gold shoes and I think these would go with a lot of outfits.

I have a thing for studs and I really like how these ones look in this shoe. It is such a unique design and I think that it would go with a lot of different outfits. I also like you just slide them on and go!

I love these color of these sandals and I also love the design and the studs. I like how the color makes them more girly but the studs make it more punk!

I have a pair that is similar to these but mine are purple and a different style but they are the same brand. I love them and I would definitely buy them in more colors!

I have a couple pairs of shoes that are similar to this and I think they are so easy to just throw on with just about anything. I have a cognac color and a black pair so I think a white pair would fit in perfectly with my collection!

I have a pair of Sperry's that are similar to this but mine are white and very worn out. I seriously need a new pair to replace the ones I have and I feel like these would be a good fit!

I've really been getting into the espadrille trend lately and I love these! I think the color is great and I love the bow on the back!

I love the green in these shoes. I am not the biggest fan of the snakeskin but I think it would still pretty much go with a lot of the different outfit options. I also like how intense yet simple they are. I think they would be a really good shoe for spring and summer!

I have this pair of shoes in purple and I absolutely love them! They are so comfortable and I honestly would buy them in several colors if they came in multiple colors!

I currently have the patent leather version of these but they are technically too small for my teeth and I have these in the nude color and I love so I want to get these in the black color to replace my current pair.

I used to have a pair of Sperry flips flops and they were super comfortable so I would definitely buy another pair. I love the color of these ones and the prices isn't too bad either!

Talk to you soon!

My Next Handbag Purchase 2019

Stephanie Kamp Blog: My Next Handbag Purchase 2019
Hey guys,

So this post is not meant to sound braggy or to make me sound spoiled. I just wanted to write this post because I've been thinking about buying a new designer handbag for a while and I meant to buy myself one for my 25th birthday but honestly spending like that gives me awful anxiety. So I usually take a really long time before I decide to buy one! When I bought my first Louis Vuitton, I walked into the store and new exactly what I wanted but I ended up leaving with a different bag. It was technically the same bag, the only difference is the one I left with had a crossbody strap that the sales associate recommended I get. Yes, it was like $300 more just for the design with the strap but I definitely don't regret it at all. My next one, I knew exactly what I wanted again and I even had the company tell the store to put one on hold for me because they had run out online. I reserved it the night before and drove to our nearest store and picked it up the next day.

Now with all of this being said, the last time I spent a large amount of money on a new designer handbag was back in February of 2016. So I honestly think it's time, if I have the finances to be able to buy one. Everyone enjoys spending their money on certain things, mine just so happens to be handbags, shoes, or things for my house. I have probably talked about buying a new one for over a year now and my family is probably getting a little tired of it. But like I said before it gives me anxiety to spend that kind of money!

So I currently have two handbags picked out and I can't decide which one I want to get. Both of them are Louis Vuitton because lets be honest this is my favorite company and it will probably be a while before I buy a different brand. The first one that I like is called the Nano Noé and the second one is the Alma BB. Both come in larger sizes but since my other two Louis handbags are pretty large I figured it's time to get something smaller and that's more of a crossbody than something that can hold my entire life! haha I also don't use my other two as much because of how large they are and how they can sometimes be too heavy.

The only difference for this handbag is that I am thinking of buying it used. There's this website called Fashionphile and I've been looking at their stuff for quite a while now. After a handbag has been listed for a certain number of days and no one has purchased it then the handbag goes on their layaway program and basically you can put down a downpayment and then pay off the rest of the handbag over a 60 day period. Or you can obviously pay with your debt or a charge card of your choice.

However, my only warning when using this company is to make sure you look at the original price of the item because sometimes Fashionphile charges more. I haven't figured out why yet but honestly, I don't really want to pay more for a used bag when I can get the bag cheaper from the actual designer brand new.

So when it comes to the Nano Noé, I already have two handbags that are this material, which is the typical Louis Vuitton material that everyone knows. So my only problem with that is that I was kind of wanting to get a different pattern for my next bag however, I fell in love with this style. My other concern about this bag is that it doesn't really have a closure. It only comes with draw strings and no zipper or flap or anything else to secure everything inside the purse.

When it comes to the Alma BB, I have been eyeing this purse for quite some time now and I really like the style. I feel like it's still large enough to be able to put everything that I really need inside it but still small enough to where I won't over stuff it and it becomes too heavy to use on a daily basis. I also really like how this one is a different pattern like I've been wanting. To be honest this will probably be the one that I end up with just because of the zipper and it being something new but I just think that the Noé is such a cute style, unfortunately it's just not practical.

I would love to know what you guys which handbag you guys think I should get! Feel free to leave me a comment down below!

By the way this post is not sponsored at all. All opinions are my own!

Talk to you soon!

Shoes I Want to Buy for My New Job

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Shoes I Want to Buy for My New Job
Hey guys,

So you some of you may know that I work for DSW which has pretty much always been my favorite shoe store even before I started working there. But I get an amazing discount and I told my mom and sister that we need to do a big shopping trip there before I lose my discount because I will be very sad when I can't buy super cute shoes at a much cheaper price but I'm sure I'll get over it eventually!

Anyways, since I will be starting a new job soon I wanted to do a post on the shoes that I want to buy for my new job because a lot of the shoes I currently own aren't really appropriate for an office setting  and so I picked out 9 pairs that I thought would be a good fit. Granted I don't technically know what the dress code is yet for my new job so this list may change depending on what I am allowed to wear but hopefully I'm allowed to wear all of them!

So here is my list of shoes that I have complied for my new job!

1) Lucky Brand Sandal
2 ) Kelly & Katie Sandal
3) Rock & Candy Sandal
4) Franco Sarto Sandal
5) Kelly & Katie Wedge Sandal
6) Mercanti Fiorentini Loafer
7) Naturalizer Sandal
8) Crown Vintage Platform Slip-on
9) Bandolino Wedge Pump

Yes, I know that number 6 is a repeat from my last post but I think it would be a good work shoe and a good casual shoe! It comes in other colors as well and it looks super comfy!

Thanks for stopping by!

Shoes I Want to Buy July 2018

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Shoes I Want to Buy July 2018
Hey guys,

So here is a list of shoes that I currently want at my store! In case you can't tell I like the color pink a lot! And the sad thing is that this isn't even half the amount of shoes that I really want. I may need to go to therapy or like an AA meeting for shoes! I plan on doing two more posts about cute shoes that I want! One will be sandals and one will be work shoes that I want to buy for whenever I get a new job!

I love all of the shoes a lot, I already have quite a few pairs of Sperry's and I abolsutley love wearing them and I also have a few pairs of Vans and they have become a recent obsession of mine. I have slip-on Vans and lace-up Vans. They're pretty comfortable which is one of the main reasons I keep buying them. Some styles are more comfortable than others but I also like to buy them because of how cute they are and I really enjoy styling outfits around my shoes sometimes!

I know I have two pairs of tennis shoes on there and no I don't run but I do go on walks sometimes and I just love the color of the Nikes plus I also have a couple workout outfits that will match them perfectly! The New Balance I picked because I love the blue and pink combo and I'm also really into tennis shoes/sneakers that don't have to be tied and you can just slip them on!

The rest of the shoes I picked because I don't really have anything like them in my closet and I like adding new styles to my closet because I enjoy having a lot of options when it comes to shoes. I take pretty good care of my shoes and I don't like to wear them down so in order to do that I make sure I have a wide variety to choose from so I don't constantly wear the same pair over and over again.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and make sure to check back for my two other shoe posts!

Thanks for stopping by!

Designer Handbag Dupes: Chanel 2.55 Double Flap

Hey guys,

So here is the first bag in the series! I absolutely love this bag, however, I have never actually held one or anything like that. But my goal is to someday save up and buy one! They typically sell for like $4,500 and up depending on the size you get. And yes I know that is a lot of money for a bag but I am crazy obsessed with fashion and so sometimes it's really hard to not want to buy some of the items that designers come up with haha.
Designer Handbag Dupes: Chanel 2.55 Double Flap

My personal favorites that I think look the most similar to the Chanel, are number 2 and number 7. Also, I currently own number 1 in white and I absolutely love it! I wear it all the time and it has even been featured on the blog a few times. However, I don't think they sell it in white anymore, they only sell it in black and it can sometimes be challenging to find.

I also really like number 4 because it's actually a Vera Bradley bag and I know there are quite a few people who really like Vera Bradley bags so it's nice that the company has created a bag that looks a little more luxurious than their typical bag.

The one that I would say that would most likely hold up the best would be number 9, the Tory Burch. This bag is pretty pricey but I know that the quality of the bag is worth the money. I have a couple of Tory Burch bags and they don't seem to show wear and tear as quickly as some of my other bags. I absolutely love my Tory's and if you have the money to buy one I totally recommend it.

If I had to pick one bag that resembles the Chanel bag the most and the one that I would choose to carry would have to be number 7, The Rebecca Minkoff. I have a Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC that I wear ALL the time and it is seriously one of my favorite bags. My mom even decided the she needed to buy me a new bag one day because I was carrying my Mini MAC with me everywhere I went haha. So I would totally recommend the Love crossbody by Rebecca Minkoff because I know that it will last and it will probably be a bag that you will carry with you everywhere you go.

Universal Studios Day 2

Hey guys,

So for day two, we woke up around 8 and left our hotel around 8:40 to get there by the time the park opened. Technically it opened before we got there but only by like 20 minutes lol. PS, just to warn you incase you haven't been to Universal in a while then you should know that you basically have to go through airport security just to get into the park. Okay maybe not really but it's pretty darn close. Your bags have to go on a belt and get scanned and then you have to walk through a metal detector with nothing in your pockets. You can however have like a watch on or other jewelry and sunglasses.

The first thing we rode was the Hulk, we did however make a pit-stop at Cinnabon and my sister and I got some cinnamon rolls! Yum! Then we just walked towards the new Skull Island: Reign of Kong ride and the wait time for that was 60 minutes so we decided that we didn't have the time or patience to wait for it. So we kept on moving and we headed back towards Harry Potter World and half of us did some shopping in the candy store while the other half waited in line for butter beer. We then put our stuff in lockers and got in line for the Dragon Challenge again.
Universal Studios Day 2
My sister wore her Jurassic Park shirt that I got her for Christmas (I think) and so she wanted her picture taken under the Jurassic Park sign! Unfortunately the ride was closed both days we were there so we weren't able to ride it but that's okay. My sister and I have been on it plenty of times and we still have one more day left on our ticket, so hopefully it will be open on that day!
Universal Studios Day 2
After we got off of the coaster, we hopped on the train to head back to Universal and we did some looking around in Diagon Alley because they had opened up a new shop since the last time my sister and I had been there. Then we headed towards The Simpson's area to get lunch. They have like a cafeteria type thing inside of building where you can basically get any type of food such as pizza, chicken, and seafood. My sister and I split a meatlover's pizza with a side of tator tots.
Universal Studios Day 2
My sister and I have been collecting all of the flavors of these elixirs and this was the last one that we needed and there is definitely a reason why we waited on getting this one. If you go to purchase one of these and ask them what the different flavors are, you will probably have this one be your last choice too haha. This one is green and so I was kind of hoping for like a green apple kind of flavor but nope, the main flavor that sticks out is mint. I can't really remember what any of the other flavors are supposed to be but with all of them mixed together, it basically tastes like medicine and then a splash of mint after taste. It's the worst flavor out of all of them but we've been collecting them and we're going to add them as decorations on our library wall in the library because they're kind of steampunk-ish haha.

Next, we rode ET because it's a classic and you have to make sure to still ride the classics before they get rid of them (insert sad face emoji here). Our last ride of the day before heading back home was Transformers. If my sister and I got to Universal we typically steer clear of as many 3D rides as possible even though that's like all of Universal's rides. But we will ride the roller coasters a few times each or other rides that don't require you to wear 3D glasses. We get really bad motion sickness sometimes even if we've already taken medication.
Universal Studios Day 2
So here is a photo of all of us that went on the trip!

We ended up splitting up into two groups and half of us wanted to The Mummy and the other half went off to ride Rock-it. The half that went off to ride The Mummy were kind of too scared to ride Rock-it haha. We were planning on doing single rider and I pretty much won't ride Rock-it without sitting next to my sister or someone I'm super close with incase I need to squeeze their hand to death haha. Plus I love The Mummy! It's seriously such a good ride. However, none of us got to ride the rides we wanted because of issues with the rides but that's okay. We still had a great time and I can't wait to go back!

So as you can see, I didn't really take that many pictures on day 2. I always say that I am going to take so many pictures but then I always forget and by the end of the day I totally regret not taking that many.

New Series: Designer Handbag Dupes

Hey guys,

So for some people it's the designer label, for some its the style and for some it's both. Which for me personally, it's both. I love designer labels but I also love handbags for their style. However, I have noticed that high-end designer labels tend to create new unique styles more than low end labels or fast fashion stores. I've also noticed that fast-fashion stores or lower end labels tend to design handbags that imitate the high-end labels. And according to Oscar Wilde, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

So with that being said, I decided to start a new series where I find dupes for different designer handbags. I'm crazy obsessed with handbags! I think I have like 30 plus maybe, I'm not entirely sure. I just love buying them and collecting all of the different styles. I typically will only buy designer handbags which I think is kind of good because if I didn't I would own so many more handbags. I'm not even kidding, every time I go to Target or Forever21, I'm like "OMG that bag is so cute" but I shouldn't really buy it because I don't need it and I'm not entirely sure how long it will last even though it would probably last pretty long considering how many bags I have and how many bags I would buy if I bought cheaper bags.

New Series: Handbag Designer Dupes
I know that some people think that buying designer handbags is such a waste and that they cost a lot of money so chances are you will wear one down before you even get a new one. So one thing that I have been doing a lot lately, is buying smaller cross-body bags because they're typically less than $200 which means you can buy a couple of them either at a time or close together and have them last a lot longer. Plus, not to mention, carrying a cross body is so much lighter than having to carry a huge tote or shoulder bag.

So the main reason I decided to start this new series is because I was going to write up one blog post featuring a bunch of different handbags and all of the dupes that I could find and then I realized that was kinda of stupid because that it would take me forever and it would be hard to add to over the years as more designers create new handbags. So I started to create this series where I feature one handbag each post and all of the dupes that I am able to find. This way I can keep adding to it over time or fix things whenever something sells out.

My goal for this series is to find handbags for every price range so that way everyone can have a bag that looks similar to the designer one. You don't always need to be carrying a designer handbag because maybe you aren't going to be in the right situation or maybe you are going to a theme park and don't want to bring your really expensive handbag. You can carry the cheaper version of it and still look just as fashionable and you won't have to worry about accidentally getting your expensive bag damaged. Also, you may just like the look of the bag and want to find something that is similar and not waste your money on something you may only use a few times.

Some of the bags that I am going to feature are included in the picture above and then there are several others that I plan to include as well. And as designer's create new bags over the years, I can add to the series with new dupes that I find. I also might expand the series to shoes, clothes, and accessories. I haven't completely decided yet so obviously I will let you know later on.

I can't tell you when the first post in the series will be because I haven't started working on it yet and I also have a couple of other posts to write and post first. I also have a lot of research to do before I can post them. They will be random and they will not be posted on a specific day.

2 Year Blog Anniversary

Hey guys,

So 2 years ago today I published my very first blog post. And if you happen to go back to the beginning, just remember that I started this blog as a class assignment so if some of the posts seem kind of weird or look kind of weird, it's because I was following the guidelines that we had to follow when we posted certain posts.

If you read my blog, then I want to say thank you! I really appreciate it :)
My most popular posts:

And just to give you a sneak peak, here are some blog posts that I plan to write about in the future!

Future Blog Posts:

1) Top 10 Things to do in Ireland
2) Before and After Images of our House
3) Designer Dupes Series
4) More DIY's
5) More Personal/Get to Know me Posts

Some things that I want to work on include figuring out how to be better with social media. I can get on here and just write away but whenever it comes to positing things on social media, I pretty much fail. I never know what to say and then I always forget to share my posts or anything at all.

I also still plan on eventually creating YouTube videos as well. I'm currently looking for a second job and so once I get one I am hoping that I will be able to spend that time filming and editing YouTube videos instead of looking for a job.
I hope you guys have enjoyed reading my blog so far! I love you and stay tuned for what's to come!

What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition

Hey guys,

Sorry for the late post! My sister and I actually took these photos real quick today and then we've been so busy still trying to get the house together. I'm also trying to look for a new/second job (but technically third lol).

For the first What to Wear Wednesday of the year, I thought I would do a semi-funny post. I have been going to church my whole life. I was born and raised in church and I plan to continue to go to church for the rest of my life. I thoroughly enjoy attending church and invite anyone who has ever thought about attending church, to take that step and just go. You never know, it could change your life for the better!

I'm not one of those people that has a crazy story about when I first discovered Jesus but that's okay. I don't think that everyone has to have one of those stories. I've known Jesus my whole life and I have always felt him there and knew that no matter what I would be able to get through anything because Jesus has my back just like I have his. I don't really want to talk to much about religion here mostly because that's not what this blog is about but also because I'm not a fan making people feel like I'm trying to shove Jesus down their throats or pressure them in to attending church.

However, when ever I talk to people about attending church they sometimes ask "What do I wear to church? Do I have to wear a dress or is there a dress code?" Plus one time my sister and I wear doing some research and we found this article that said that "What to wear to church" was one of the most Googled questions so I thought I would share my insight on this considering I have been going to church for a very long time.

There are three options that I'm suggesting and I'm going to list them from the fanciest to the most casual.

1) A Dress

This is normally what I wear to church. I love dresses and it's the one day a week that I get to dress up and wear heels so I try to wear a dress and a pair of heels as often as I can. Sometimes I have to wear something different depending on what I am doing after church but I can wear a dress then I will most definitely be wearing one. I love them because they are easy to throw on and you don't really have to plan much of an outfit. You just put on the dress, find a pair of shoes, some matching accessories and you are all ready to go.
Stephanie Kamp Blog: What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition
Stephanie Kamp Blog: What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition
2) A Skirt

If you aren't the dress type then you can always wear a skirt. However, if you aren't the dress type then chances are you probably aren't the skirt type either haha. But I typically prefer to wear dresses over skirts because they're so much easier to just throw on and go. So maybe there are some people out there that prefer skirts over dresses, who knows?
Stephanie Kamp Blog: What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition
Stephanie Kamp Blog: What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition
3) A pair of jeans

You can always wear a pair of jeans if you are unsure what to wear. It's casual and half the time it's what I end up wearing because it's comfortable to just throw on a pair of jeans and head out the door. Also, instead of jeans you could wear a pair of slacks or colored pair of pants/jeans.
Stephanie Kamp Blog: What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition
Stephanie Kamp Blog: What to Wear Wednesday: Church Edition
So in all honesty, it doesn't really matter what you wear to church, we really are just glad that you are there and took that step to join us! We welcome anyone and everyone and we try not to judge, even though sometimes it can be a little challenging (we all sin sometimes haha!).

I recommend bring a jacket or sweater with you if you are a first time attender because for some odd reason, church's are always very cold. Also, you don't need to bring a Bible with you if you don't have one, they're aren't required. Besides most people just use a Bible app that they have downloaded to their smartphone.

P.S. Yes I know I'm pale! I have like to no time to self-tan and if I go out in the sun all I do is burn!

How to Tuesday: 3 Ways to Wear All Black

Hey guys,

Welcome to the first How To Tuesday of 2017! Sorry for not posting too much last week. I really hope that I am able to keep up with the blogging and I plan to try and post everyday that I am able to.

So I had originally planned to do a post on how to wear all white because it's January and it's okay to wear white again (haha but really though, it's not like I actually follow the whole no white after labor day rule anyways). But then I realized that I own a lot of white tops but not a whole lot of white anything else which means that I have to go out and buy some more clothes (yay!) but I unfortunately ran out of time before I wanted to post this. So I decided to do a post on how to wear all black (because apparently, I wear way more black than I do white even though every time I go shopping my mom and sister make fun of me for buying a bunch of white stuff, weird!) and then next month  I will post the one on how to wear all white.

I wanted to do this post because I know there are quite a few fashion people out there such as bloggers and YouTubers that only wear neutral colors (i.e. all black, all white, or a mix of both). Over the last couple of years it has become quite a popular trend. Granted, in this post I am only wearing one single neutral color and that's black but I know that wearing all black or all white is a trend as well so I figured since I am really into fashion that I might as well give it a try.

Normally I stick to wearing a black top or a white top and find some way to add a pop of color or I will start with a pop of color and figure out how to die if down a little by adding some black or white. So I thought it would be fun to try sticking to just one color and this time I wore all black. And to be honest, out of the 3 outfits that I came up with, the first and last the ones are my favorite.

The first one is very fun and in my opinion, you don't really notice that I am wearing all black. When I came up with the idea, I thought I would look really strange just wearing all black and no color but after looking through all of the photos, I just look like I'm wearing a fun outfit that I put together.
Top: Forever 21 (old) similar here and here | Jeans: Paige (old) similar here and here | Shoes: Marc Fisher similar here and here | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban similar here and here

The second outfit is my least favorite but it literally took no time whatsoever to put together because it's just a black t-shirt with a pair of black shorts and I threw on my favorite pair of casual shoes which are just a pair of black slip-on Vans. This outfit is very simple and you could definitely wear it out and about while running errands if you don't feel like putting a lot of thought into your outfit. It's very simple to just grab two black casual items and put them on. I promise you will look put together because there is nothing more fancy than wearing black!
Top: Target similar here and here | Shorts: American Eagle (old) similar here and here | Shoes: Vans from DSW (old) similar here and here | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban similar here and here

This outfit is great because you really can't tell that I am wearing all black and after I came up with this outfit, I realized that I had already worn this exact outfit several times. It's very easy to just throw on a black romper and a pair of black shoes. You can also, of course, try wearing a casual black dress and some black sandals and there you go, you have the perfect all black outfit!
Romper: Forever 21 (old) similar here and here | Shoes: Tory Burch similar here and here | Sunglasses: Burberry (old) similar here and here

And yes, I know that all of these outfits are summer outfits but you have to remember that I live in Florida and so far this winter we've only had like 5 cold days so most of the time we are still wearing shorts, tank tops, and flip flops around. However, hopefully this gives you guys some inspiration for your spring and summer shopping lists!

Hey guys,

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys spending time with their family and loved ones!

These pants are seriously so comfortable! I also bought them in another color which will be featured on the blog a little later. I'm always looking for comfortable, casual pants because I seriously hate wearing pants. I prefer to wear dresses, rompers, or shorts.

And yes there is lint/dog fur all over my black pants haha! I had already worn them once before doing this shoot and I didn't have time to wash them before wearing them again.

Hey guys,

Happy hump day! So unfortunately there won't be another "What to Wear Wednesday" this month. I didn't have time to plan anything. I have quite a few ideas but I wasn't able to get the outfits together in time or find a time where my sister and I weren't working. However, I do hope to have one up next month!

Also, I promise I own other shoes and handbags but I am just currently obsessing over these two items and how much they go with everything at the moment! I also really love this dress! It's perfect for fall in Florida (or elsewhere) because of all the dark colors. You can just put on a leather jacket or another type of coat if it happens to be chilly out and you're all set to go. Also, if you live up north where it's currently cold all the time, you can put some tights or leggings on and your coat and be ready for the day! This dress is very flowy and a lot of fun to spin around in (although I'm not sure how often people spin around in their dresses during the day unless they're doing a photoshoot haha).

Thanks for stopping by!
