Netflix's Taylor swift Reputation Stadium Tour

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Netflix's Taylor swift Reputation Stadium Tour
Hey guys,

So I know that this came out like 2 and a half months ago now but I just wanted to do a little post about it! I honestly love when celebrities do this type of thing because sometimes going to concerts can be a little pricey or maybe you don't live that close to a stadium and can't make it to the show. I don't really live that close to any of the stadiums that she went but both of them are about a 2 hour drive for me, give or take a few minutes depending on traffic. With all of that being said, I have only gone to two of her concerts and the reason is because concerts can be pricey. It wasn't until I became an adult and paid for my own ticket that I really started going to her concerts. Before that I felt bad about asking my parents to pay for something like that.

Anyways, this little concert movie thing is so good and it's basically almost like being there. She did pretty much all of the same songs that she did at the show in Miami (this is the show that I went to and wrote about here!). The movie is pretty much the length of a full movie and then some. I believe it's about 2 hours long which is the length of her concert so it's very nice. I did end up watching it in two parts. I put it on one day when I was doing my laundry and then the next day I put back on when I had to finish the rest of my laundry. It was nice to have on in the background because I could sing and dance along. I was still watching it but I was also being productive. I think I would definitely watch it again while doing it laundry. It made laundry less tedious!

Honestly this concert was so amazing and I was so excited when she announced that she was going to be doing this. And I know that not everyone is a huge Taylor fan but she really is a good performer. I feel like with artists it's either they sing really well live and don't do much of a show or they perform really well but don't sing very well. However, when it comes to Taylor, she puts on a really good show and still sings really well. She also has really elaborate sets and props. This tour she floated across the stadium in beautifully lit up lift thing and then floated back to the stage on a really cool snake lift thing. She also really likes to be able to make sure that every part of the stadium is fully involved which is why she has the tendency to go from the stage to another part of the stadium where she has other stages set up.

She also has really amazing costumes and her backup dancers/singers are great at performing as well. If you were unable to attend one of her concerts live then I highly recommend you watch the Netflix concert. I'm sure most people that have already watched this by now but if you haven't and you have ever thought about it then I highly recommend it. Also, the other reason I suggest watching it is because if you've ever thought about going to one of her concerts but haven't been sure about the price of your ticket or the distance you might have to drive and whether or not the show will be worth it then you should give this a watch and maybe it will help you make up your mind. Or who knows maybe this is good enough for you and you'll make up your mind that you don't need to attend one of her shows.

P.S. I included some pictures from the concert I went to in Miami last year! Also, I feel like my thoughts are all over the place with this post so sorry if it didn't really make a whole lot of sense!

Talk to you soon!

Life Update September 2018

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Life Update September 2018
Hey guys,

Welcome to September and happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and ready to enjoy their weekend! If you work, I am very sorry and I can relate I know that it can be challenging to work on the weekends. But growing up with a mom who is a nurse, I know that not every job can have weekends off. As someone who now gets weekends off, honestly it's not something I am going to brag about because I personally think it's so rude to brag about it, especially in front of people who don't get the weekends off.

Anyways, I didn't really mean to start this post off with a rant. I just wanted to give you guys a little life update and let you know what's b

een going on! So about a little over 3 weekends ago I went to Miami to see the Taylor Swift concert as all of you saw and it was absolutely amazing! I wish I could see another show! We also took a trip to Ikea while we were over there and bought a couple things for our house! We found an outdoor coffee table for our back porch in their clearance section and then we also bought a another shelving unit for the closet in our office.

The office is probably the one room in our house that still really needs a lot of work! We have so much stuff from two desks, plenty of crafting and scrapbooking supplies and workout equipment. It's basically like our catchall room. If we don't really have space for it in our rooms or it doesn't really belong anywhere else in the house then it pretty much ends up in the office. We also store all of our wrapping paper and present supplies in the office. There's also twin pull-out loveseat in the room that we use for whenever we have guests stay the night! I am constantly trying to think of new and more storage ideas without making the room seem more cluttered. It's a very big challenge!

Anyways, the following weekend we took a last minute trip to Disney because it was my last weekend before I started my new job which you guys would have read about that too! We went to 3 out of the 4 parks during this trip and it was a lot of fun! I really enjoy going to Disney and I will take  advantage of any opportunity to take a trip up there! So far we don't really have any trips planned back up there but most of the time we plan last minute trips anyways!

And then last weekend we to Tampa to celebrate my grandma's (on my dad's side) 80th birthday! It was really fun! We completely surprised her and she had no idea that any of us were going to be in town. I also got to see my brother and his family because they drove into town for the celebration so that was fun too! On Sunday morning my sister and I drove to Orlando from Lakeland (that's where my grandparents actually live) because we threw a baby shower for one of our friends who is having a baby in mid October! It's her first baby and we are so excite for her! Also, we can't wait to meet her little one!

This weekend will be the first weekend that I haven't gone out of town in a while so I am really looking forward to spending time at home and finding stuff to do around the house and running a few errands. I really enjoy being able to get home before 5 but I have to admit that waking up at 5:30 has been a little bit of a challenge! So far I've been going to bed at like 9:30 which is something I don't really enjoy! I think I just have to figure out how to live with less sleep because I don't really want to come home and be tired and then feel like I'm wasting the rest of my day away! I want to be able to go out and do stuff but at the moment my new sleep schedule has been annoying! I know that with time I will get better but it's just going to take a couple weeks. I used to go to bed at midnight every night and then wake up at 7 am the next morning and it was no problem at all so it would be nice to feel that way again.

Also, so far I am liking my job! It's actually really interesting. A little challenging because there is a lot that I have to learn and know and remember but so far I'm picking everything up pretty well. However, since I don't really know that much yet I get really nervous every time my phone rings because I don't really know how I'm going to help the person on the other end when they probably know just as much as I do so far haha! I can't wait until I know everything but in my interview they pretty much said that I probably won't really know everything until after 6 months! Like I said in an earlier post, I will probably do a full post on my job later, I just feel like I need to be there at least like a month before I can really say too much!

I hope you guys enjoyed this life update! I might do another one later on in the month, it just depends on what's going on and how busy I am.

Thanks for stopping by!

Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour Miami 2018

Hey guys,

So I recently went to the Taylor Swift Stadium Tour in Miami! It was the most amazing show ever! I absolutely love Taylor Swift and I have been such a big fan since the beginning. I have only been to two of her stadium tours but both of them were absolutely amazing! I wish I could have gone to all of her other tours. The other tour I went to was 1989 and that one was absolutely wonderful too!

So just to let you know, either don't bring a purse or make sure you have a see through purse or just like a wallet! My sister and I brought purses that were a good size but my mom's was too big and we had to put it back in the car! In my opinion they did a terrible job of letting people know about this rule because they had to send so many people back to their cars. They also had a coatcheck area for those that did not have cars or feel safe to leave it in their car.

I am not going to say what songs were sung or what she said! I also didn't really want to post too many pictures that gave away a lot of her surprises but I did include one! My sister actually went to the Tampa show and the Miami show and she didn't reveal any info about the show to me so that way I would be extra surprised!

I was unable to make it to the Tampa show for a complicated reason but the Miami show was amazing and we actually liked it a lot better. It was held at the Hard Rock stadium and the stadium is so much better than the Raymond James stadium. We all kind of agreed that for the next tours we will be going to the Miami show!

Anyways here's some of the photos that I took during the show!

The worst part of the show was when it ended but all good things must come to an end! It was such an amazing show and if you went, I hope you had an amazing time! If you haven't gone and are still deciding if you should go then I highly recommend it! Taylor really knows how to put on a show! Her costume changes are amazing and she's so fast it's crazy! Also her dancers, backup singers, and band are so talented! She always has the craziest stage design and she loves to make sure that she visits all parts of the stadium because she is so dedicated to making her fans happy since they are the reason why she is where she is in life!

Upcoming Summer 2018 Trips

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Upcoming Summer 2018 Trips
Hey guys,

June is a pretty busy month and so is August, however July might be a little boring but I'm kind of okay with that because of how busy June and August are going to be. Granted I still do want to plan and take a trip in July but nothing has really been discussed!

So here is a list of all of the trips we have planned so far:

1) Disney

I'm going to Disney this weekend with my boyfriend and my family! We're just going for one night so he can use up the last two days on his tickets but I'm super excited because we're staying at one of my favorite places, Fort Wilderness Campground! We're staying in the cabins there and they are one of my favorite places to stay. They are so roomy and come with their own kitchen, they're so nice! We haven't picked out what parks we're going to but hopefully we will soon! I'll probably post pictures and maybe blog about the trip once we get back but I haven't decided!

2) St. Augustine

The last weekend of the month we are taking a trip to St. Augustine to visit our friends and see their new house. This trip will just consist of my sister, my boyfriend and I. I am so excited and I can't wait to see everyone and their new house! I also love visiting St. Augustine, it is one of my favorite cities! We took Zach (my boyfriend) for his first trip a couple months ago and I am so excited to go back with him and show him more of the city! It's seriously such a cut and fun town to visit if you ever get the chance!

3) NYC

The first weekend of August, my mom, my sister, and I will be heading on annual trip to New York! I've decided to start calling it that because let's face it, we seem to go every year now! It's our favorite city to visit and there is seriously so much to do all of the time that you can't really ever get bored! It's amazing! If you still haven't booked your trip then you need to right now! You only get one life so you might as well live it to the fullest!

One of the main reasons we're going here is for my mom's birthday (which was back in April)! We were supposed to go back then but we just had too much going on with work, the house, and other trips that we weren't able to find the time go. My mom wanted to go because they are having a Downton Abbey Exhibit there and it was supposed to end back in May I think but they ended up extending it because it was doing so well and so that's the main reason we're going! My mom, my sister and I all really love Downton Abbey!

4) Miami

OMG guys this trip is probably my favorite trip and the one I'm looking the most forward too because we're actually going to Miami to see Taylor Swift!!! We went a couple of years ago to her last concert series for 1989 and it was absolutely amazing so we all agreed that we had to go to her next concert that was in Florida! It's going to be amazing and I'm kind of bummed that her Tampa concert isn't on a weekend night because that's the city we would have preferred but oh well! It's still going to be such a great show and we're going to have a blast!

P.S. I'm not sure why that last heading wouldn't show up like the rest, I tried several different things and it just wouldn't update to be like the rest!

The trip I want to take in July is a trip to Tallahassee! We have friends that live up there and we typically try to visit them like every 3 months or so since they recently had a kid but lately we've been struggling finding the time to go up there so I'm thinking that a trip in July would be good! Also another reason I really want to go is because my boyfriend has never been to Tallahassee and it's one of my sister and I's favorite cities to visit!

Thanks for stopping by!
