Fall Green Crochet Lace Top

Hey guys,

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I worked a lot and I saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with my sister. It was a really good movie and I totally recommend it if you've been on the fence about it. I also can't wait to see Johnny Depp in the rest of the movies in the series!

So for  birthday, my mom took me shopping so I could photograph some new outfits for the blog, however, I between my weird schedule and the evening hours that my sister works, it took us forever to finally be able to shoot some of the outfits. They will all be up this week hopefully. My goal last week was to not miss a post until the end of the year but unfortunately already broke that goal and missed most of last week. So I'm going to reset that goal and try to not miss anymore posts this week and hopefully for the rest of the year! Let's see if I can do it.

These photos where taken at a local state park called the Koreshan State Historic Site. According to my family, I have been to this state park before but I was really little and don't remember a single thing about it so in my opinion, it doesn't really count haha. However, the state park was really except I was a little freaked out because apparently a cult used to live there and I knew nothing about this when I suggested this for our photoshoot location.

This shirt was one of this items that my mom bought me for my birthday and I absolutely love the color and the lace. I am not the biggest fan of the sleeves though. I have this thing about my shoulders and so I am not the biggest fan of wearing items that don't fully cover them. But I feel like this is the perfect fall shirt because it's a dark green color and it's also a crochet lace which is fall feminine.

I hope you guys have an amazing week and an wonderful Thanksgiving!

How to Tuesday: 3 Ways to Wear Heeled Booties

Hey guys,

So today's post is kind of fall related! I woke up yesterday morning and it was kind of chilly here in Southwest Florida, it was refreshing and pretty much only lasted a few hours. Then it went back to being it super ridiculously hot self!

For today's post I decided to put together 3 different ways to style this style of booties. I absolutely love this style and I have had these booties for quite a few years now and I love being able to wear them this time of year.

I have linked a few similar pairs below and I have also linked a few favorites that could work with these outfits as well!

The first outfit is just your typical pair of jeans with a white blouse and a long colored sweater. You can also recreate this look by changing up the color of the sweater or the blouse. The most important thing though is to make sure that your cuff the bottom of your jeans and allow a little bit of skin to show otherwise your outfit may not look as good. Your pants should never tuck inside of the bootie, they should always be a little bit above the rim of the shoe or right at the top.

The second outfit is a dress with a jean jacket which is styled a little more western to match with the theme of the bootie. You can wear this in the fall as long as if you don't live anywhere that is too cold and even then you might be able to get away with wearing this if you throw on some thick tights or wear a longer dress.

I also love the orange color of this dress because I think that it is perfect for fall and I also think that it goes really well with the booties.

The last outfit is again, a little more country/western but still fun. I threw on a chambray shirt with a colored pair of pants/jeans. You can also try this look with a white pair of pants. I think the only color I wouldn't wear with these booties or similar ones is the color black. I personally have never thought it looks good with this style of shade of color but if you can make it work then, yay great job!

One tip I have is that I recommend searching for ankle pants if you want to wear colored pants with a pair of booties like this because I wasn't really the biggest fan of having to cuff them but they were just too long and they were going inside the bootie.

Hey guys,

So I saw this dress at Old Navy a few weeks ago and I knew I had to have it. I absolutely love floral details and pretty much anything navy blue. I paired it with my favorite white wedges and right before we left the house, I grabbed this fedora style hat white the white flower detail. I rarely wear hats but I occasionally like to throw one on. However, this outfit can totally be worn without a hat and look just as fabulous. I also really love this dress because of the bright pink color.

Hey guys,

So as I am sure you have noticed, I am really obsessed with shift dresses! And normally I don't wear anything with animals on them but I just love the elephant details on this dress. They are so cute and this dress is extremely comfortable. I have already worn it several times and I wish I could wear shift dresses every single day. However, I think that would be a little boring so I try to make sure that my closet is full of a wide variety of items.

I hope you guys enjoyed yesterday's "How to Tuesday" and be sure to check back next Wednesday for "What to Wear Wednesday."

Old Navy Floral Printed Romper

Romper: Old Navy | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Handbag: Kate Spade (old) similar here and I really like this one, exact here | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Hey guys,

I'm love this romper that I recently got from Old Navy! It's super comfortable and different from the other rompers I own. I typically don't buy long sleeve items since I live in Florida but I didn't really get that hot in it and I also think it would be great for transitioning into fall. The only downside to this romper is that it is a little large on me. I'm currently wearing an X-Samll and I wish it was a size smaller. However, I have always had sizing issues with Old Navy clothes. I love them but they never seem to fit me correctly. If you happen to like this pattern, then it is also available in this adorable midi dress.

Hey guys,

I actually bought these pants from Banana Republic a while ago, back when I went to NYC in February. Since purchasing them, I've worn them a couple times and I absolutely love the length, the feel of the material (which is kind of similar to denim), and the color. I thought it was kind of odd and refreshing to see olive green pants being sold in a spring line. Typically, you will see green items come out more in the fall and sometimes in the winter. The collection featured two colors, olive green and a beautiful lavender. The whole collection was amazing but I was more drawn to the olive green.

I know that wearing olive green or army green items of clothing are definitely not everyone's first choice but I've always been drawn to the color ever since I was little. Probably because my dad was in the Army and I grew up seeing the color all the time. but I haven't owned anything this color in a while. So when I saw these pants, I knew that I had to have them.

Sorry today's post went up a little late!

What do you guys think of my green pants?
