Hey guys,

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys spending time with their family and loved ones!

These pants are seriously so comfortable! I also bought them in another color which will be featured on the blog a little later. I'm always looking for comfortable, casual pants because I seriously hate wearing pants. I prefer to wear dresses, rompers, or shorts.

And yes there is lint/dog fur all over my black pants haha! I had already worn them once before doing this shoot and I didn't have time to wash them before wearing them again.

Hey guys,

Happy hump day! So unfortunately there won't be another "What to Wear Wednesday" this month. I didn't have time to plan anything. I have quite a few ideas but I wasn't able to get the outfits together in time or find a time where my sister and I weren't working. However, I do hope to have one up next month!

Also, I promise I own other shoes and handbags but I am just currently obsessing over these two items and how much they go with everything at the moment! I also really love this dress! It's perfect for fall in Florida (or elsewhere) because of all the dark colors. You can just put on a leather jacket or another type of coat if it happens to be chilly out and you're all set to go. Also, if you live up north where it's currently cold all the time, you can put some tights or leggings on and your coat and be ready for the day! This dress is very flowy and a lot of fun to spin around in (although I'm not sure how often people spin around in their dresses during the day unless they're doing a photoshoot haha).

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Review

Hey guys,

So today's blog post is going to be another purse review and it's going to be on the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac. To be honest, I love writing purse reviews because I love being able to sit down and write everything that I love and dislike about a certain purse. I want to make sure that I am giving you guys a thorough review so you can finally decide whether or not you actually want to purchase the purse! I have a couple more purse reviews that I am on the fence about writing because I am not entirely sure if they are handbags that people still purchase frequently. But I'll think about it and we'll see if I write them! Haha
Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Review
As you guys know this bag has been featured on my blog several times (it's in almost every single outfit post)! I love this bag a lot and I have owned it for about 4 years now. It is my go-to bag that I grab it whenever I need to just get out the door. I would recommend this bag to anyone and everyone!

Side note: This bag comes with two leather strings that are attached to the zipper pulls but I took mine off. I wasn't the biggest fan of having really long strings hanging down the of my purse. I have put them back on like once or twice but I will typically leave them off just because feel like they are kind of annoying and may potentially get in the way.

This bag can be worn three different ways, either with the long strap (cross body or just hanging on your shoulder), without the strap (it can be worn as a clutch), and with the strap doubled over to make it shorter. I pretty much only wear it with the long strap because I love being able to wear it as a cross body. However, I have gone out of town and only taken this bag with me using it as my daytime bag and my nighttime/evening bag.

I love this bag mostly because it is black! I love a good black handbag because it will pretty much go with anything. I also love the gold detailing. I tend to favor gold over silver because I tend to take after my mom and that is her favorite choice! I also the size of this bag. It is smaller but not too small. I am still able to fit pretty much everything I need inside of it including my card holder (or two), my cell phone, a small sunglasses case, some lip products, and a few other items. Sometimes I also carry gum, hand sanitizer, and hair items (ponytail holders and bobby pins).

This bag had two compartments, the main one where all of your stuff goes and a smaller one hidden underneath the flap where the buckle is. I typically don't keep anything in there except for small items that I will forget that I put in there and then end up finding them months later when I got to clean out the handbag haha.

The only damage the bag has is some beat up hardware which is to be expected with any bag and where the buckle is, the leather has been rubbed smooth in that particular area. Other than that, the bag still looks brand new after using this bag the most often during the last four years.

The classic black mini mac comes with gold hardware (that's what I have), silver hardwarerose gold hardwareblack hardwareoil slick hardware, and gunmetal hardware.

I tried to take a couple artistic shots of the bag, as you can see! I love this bag and if there is a bag that I would recommend to everyone, it would be this bag. It's low maintenance and it goes with literally everything!

Honestly, if I could own it in every single color I probably would. This is my go-to bag and it's just such an easy low maintenance bag.

Fall Green Crochet Lace Top

Hey guys,

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I worked a lot and I saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with my sister. It was a really good movie and I totally recommend it if you've been on the fence about it. I also can't wait to see Johnny Depp in the rest of the movies in the series!

So for  birthday, my mom took me shopping so I could photograph some new outfits for the blog, however, I between my weird schedule and the evening hours that my sister works, it took us forever to finally be able to shoot some of the outfits. They will all be up this week hopefully. My goal last week was to not miss a post until the end of the year but unfortunately already broke that goal and missed most of last week. So I'm going to reset that goal and try to not miss anymore posts this week and hopefully for the rest of the year! Let's see if I can do it.

These photos where taken at a local state park called the Koreshan State Historic Site. According to my family, I have been to this state park before but I was really little and don't remember a single thing about it so in my opinion, it doesn't really count haha. However, the state park was really except I was a little freaked out because apparently a cult used to live there and I knew nothing about this when I suggested this for our photoshoot location.

This shirt was one of this items that my mom bought me for my birthday and I absolutely love the color and the lace. I am not the biggest fan of the sleeves though. I have this thing about my shoulders and so I am not the biggest fan of wearing items that don't fully cover them. But I feel like this is the perfect fall shirt because it's a dark green color and it's also a crochet lace which is fall feminine.

I hope you guys have an amazing week and an wonderful Thanksgiving!

How to Tuesday: 3 Ways to Wear OTK Boots

Hey guys,

So today's blog post is all about how to wear over the knee boots a.k.a OTK Boots. Also, I cut about 3 inches of my hair off! I recently celebrated my 23rd birthday and I felt like I needed a change so I thought a shorter new do was appropriate. So far I absolutely love it and I may go like an inch or two shorter next time but I am not entirely sure yet. At this length I can still wear it in a ponytail and I can also curl it and the curl will actually stay almost the entire day, it's wonderful!

Jeans
Shirt: Banana Republic Factory (old) similar here and here | Jeans: AG Jeans (old) similar here and here | Sunglasses: Burberry (old) similar here and here

You can also of course wear it with a pair of colored pants, white jeans, or black jeans. However, if you do choose to wear it with a pair of pants or jeans that are colored then I would recommend wearing a top with some black detailing to help tie the whole look together.

This is typically how I wear my OTK boots. It's the easiest look in my opinion because you can just put them on over a pair of skinny jeans and you already look like you are super fashionable and put a lot of thought into your outfit haha. Also, wearing them with jeans helps to keep the boots up better because they will typically stick to the fabric.

Skirts
Jacket: Forever21 (old) similar here and here | Shirt: Ann Taylor (old) similar here | Skirt: Banana Republic (old) similar here and here | Sunglasses: Kate Spade New York (old) similar here and here

It's kind of hard to tell in the picture but my skirt actually has some black detailing in the fabric as well as the blue which is why I thought that the black OTK boots would work perfectly with the outfit. You can always add a pair of tights to complete the outfit if you live somewhere cold but when I took these photos it was probably 88 degrees outside and I was so hot after only wearing the jacket for a few minutes haha.

Dresses
Sweater Dress: Jeanne Pierre Purchased from TJ Maxx (old) similar here and also love this | Sunglasses: Ray Ban

So my sweater dress is actually a sweater that I purchased at TJ Maxx last year on sale and it's a women's X-Large sweater which just so happens to fit me perfectly as a dress haha. Granted it could be a little longer. It also has slits up the sides and because of this I will typically wear a pair of shorts under it just incase. I have also worn this with a pair of ponte pants and it looked just as good. You can also try wearing it with a pair of leggings or with some tights. It all just depends on personal preference and how much skin you are okay with showing.

My suggestion for skirts and dresses is to make sure that you leave at least a 2 inch space between the hem of the item of clothing and the top of the boot. Don't wear anything longer than that because then it kind of defeats the whole purpose of wearing a boot with a taller shaft. Also, the reason I said leave a 2 inch space is because sometimes you may not be able to wear these boots without wearing a pair of tights or leggings or you may just not feel comfortable wearing them without tights or leggings underneath which is totally fine!

If you have ever been on the fence about purchasing, I totally recommend it because they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes to wear during the fall and winter seasons because of how tall and amazing they make your legs looks. I swear it doesn't matter how short you are or what the size of your legs are, you will still look taller and if you purchase a pair of black OTK boots then your legs will most definitely look skinnier.

Another tip that I have is to wear a pair of over the knee socks with your over the knee boots when you don't plan on wearing them with jeans, tights or leggings. The socks help the boots stay up a lot better because they have something to grip on to. They will still fall a little throughout the day but the socks definitely help to keep them up. I also suggest wearing them even if you do plan on wearing tights because tights can be very slippery which can make the boot fall down even faster.

I also suggest when tying the boot, to prop your leg up on the counter or on top of your bed or a desk or something because in my personal experience, it seems to make my leg skinnier which helps me tie the boot tighter which allows the boot to stay up even longer.
