Beauty Products Wish List Spring 2019

Hey guys,

So I meant to post this last Friday but I ended up getting behind and was just too busy last week. Then I was going to find time and post it on the weekend but then I pretty much wasn't at home all weekend so then I had to push it back even more. You guys know that I love all thing beauty and makeup and because of this I love writing about it! So I think I would share some of the things that I've had my eye on at Sephora for quite a while now!

Stephanie Kamp Blog: Beauty Products Wish List Spring 2019

1) Sunday Riley Multivitamins Set
2) Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer
3) Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask
4) Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser
5) Glamglow Supermud Activated Charcol Treatment Mask
6) St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mouse
7) Glamglow Supertoner Exfoliating Acid Solution Toner
8) St. Tropez Gradual Tan Watermelon Infusion Body Lotion
9) Sunday Riley Space Race Acne, Oil + Pores at Wrap Speed Kit
10) Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum
11) Sunday Riley Flash Fix Kit

I have been really interested in the Sunday Riley products that Sephora has but they are sooo expensive. Since the last time I was looking at their products they've come out gift packages which I think is such a great idea for companies to do because it allows customers to be able to test out products without buying the full size first. I tend to have sensitive skin and I'm usually pretty reluctant to try out new products, especially ones that are so pricey. But I've heard that Sunday Riley has some great acne products and some scaring products. They also have some anti-aging products which are basically all products I'm highly interested in since I'm not getting any younger!

I also have been interested in the Glow Recipe products. I haven't read any of the reviews but the products seem really interesting! I also like their packaging and how they have mini trial sizes to test out. I also like how they are made of out fruit products and other natural ingredients!

One of my favorite brands is Glamglow and I absolutely love trying their new products whenever they come out with them. Also my favorite like by them is their supermud mask and I really want to try out the supertoner and see if it works well for my skin type!

I also love using St. Tropez items especially around this time of year so I can make sure I get my tan on! I currently have really tan feet though because I sit outside for lunch and my lunch is an hour long and so my feet are getting really tan because I usually wear pants every day to work. On the days that I wear dresses then I tend to get sunburnt knees and now I've recently started getting tan knees so I basically have the most strange/farmer's tan ever!

Talk to you soon!

Holy Grail Beauty Products: Drugstore

Hey guys,

So here is the post that was supposed to go up last Friday! It's the last installment in drugstore week and I hope you guys like it! Here is a list of 10 of my holy grail beauty products that are from the drugstore. Most of the items that I have linked below are from Ulta but they can be found at pretty much any drugstore or Target! The products include makeup, skincare, and other items that are beauty related. These items are products that I have repurchased several times and have learned that I can not live without them when it comes to my beauty routine. I will also be doing a high-end version of this post.

1) RIMMEL LONDON Stay Matte Pressed Powder

This is my all time favorite pressed powder, I don't really use any other one. I own several different brands but this is the only one that I have repurchased several times. I always buy the transparent just to let you know. It does come it different shades but I prefer the transparent because I just use it to set my makeup and not add more color to face.

2) MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer

This is my favorite drugstore concealer for highlighting. I use this to create triangles under my eyes and on my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, my cupids bow, and I also draw an X on my chin. This stuff is seriously the best and I have purchased so many bottles of this it's crazy. I have also tried out different shades but my two favorites are the lightest shade and the highlighting shade.

3) MAYBELLINE Baby Lips Lip Balm

I think I own almost every single color of these from all of their different lines. But this one is specifically my favorite because it's clear. You can put it on when you are looking for some moisture for your lips or you can put it on top of a lipstick to make your lips a little more soft.

4) L'ORÉAL Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color

So I had never purchased this product until they collaborated with Lily Pulitzer for her Target collection. I purchased 3 different colors and I absolutely love them. They are creamy and they last for quite a while. You can eat and there will still be a little color leftover. But you do have to be careful and make sure you don't put too much on because it can get on your teeth.

This is my favorite drugstore face wash. I have been repurchasing and using it for years. I love the smell and the color (it's pink, duh!). This face wash is also very simple and basic, it's not too harsh and the reason I use this one is because it will typically use it to give my face a break whenever I run out of the more harsh face washes that I use. I will use a high-end face wash and then switch back and forth between the two when my face needs a break.

6) BIORÉ Combo Pack Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

I have been using these pore strips for years. They are pretty much the only ones that actually work. I have tried other brands from both the drugstore and high-end and these are still my favorite. I like to buy the combo pack so it comes with strips for either your forehead or chin and it comes with the nose strips. I know there is some controversy behind pore strips but I only do it about once a month or every other month so it's not that damaging to my skin.

7) NEUTROGENA Fragrance Free Makeup Remover CleansingTowelettes

These makeup wipes seem to be everyone favorite and they are mine as well. I have been using them probably since middle school and I think that they are great. They are pretty cheap and they don't smell bad or have any harsh chemicals. They are also very soft and soothing for your face. Lately, I will only use one to remove my makeup and then I am currently using an oil cleanser for my face so I will let the oil cleanser remove the rest of my makeup. But sometimes I will use two, it just depends on my cleanser and how much makeup I am wearing.

This is my favorite face scrub, however, it is extremely abrasive. I have terrible acne scars on my chin and so I like to use this specifically there to help remove the top layer of skin because this will eventually help to reduce the scarring. This face wash is also great because target makes their own version at a cheaper price! This scrub also smells really good which is an added bonus!

9) E.L.F. COSMETICS Online Only Powder Brush

This is my favorite face brush that you can buy at the drugstore. It's an amazing quality, it works really well and it's super cheap! I have tried other E.L.F brushes and I am not the biggest fan but this one is definitely one that I recommend you purchase. I typically use it when applying RIMMEL LONDON Stay Matte Pressed Powder.

10) ARDELL Duo Lash Adhesive Clear

This is the only eyelash glue that I will buy. It's the only one that works (in my opinion) and I really only prefer the white shade as well. I have tried the black and I didn't really like it as much. It took longer to dry and I just think that it's a lot easier to use the white glue.

April Favorites

Hey guys, so I know I totally forgot to do one of these for February and March but I was super busy getting ready to go to NYC at the end of February and then I was just too busy with school and trying to finish projects and papers at the end of March. I will try to remember to do these for each month from now on though.

So the two songs See You Again and Renegades are two songs that I have been listening to non-stop for about the last week and a half of April. See You Again is the song that is featured in the new Fast and Furious 7 movie and it was written for Paul Walker, one of the actors in the movie who passed away in 2013. The Renegades song is actually featured on the Jeep commercials that are for their Renegade Jeep.

The two TV shows, iZombie and Younger have been my two favorites lately. iZombie came on in March but I actually didn’t start watching it until the first or second week of April on Hulu. The reason I start watching this show was because the guy who created it also created Veronica Mars, which used to be one of my favorite TV shows. The reason I started watching Younger was because it has Hilary Duff in it and I totally grew up watching Lizzie McGuire. Both shows are really great and if you’re looking for something to new watch, I recommend that you check them out.

The fashion items that I have been wearing a lot lately are my Ray-Ban Erika sunglasses in Rubber Havana and my Sam Edelman Gigi Sandals in Snow White. I received the sunglasses for Christmas (I wrote 2 posts about my Sunglasses Collection here and here) and they have become my new favorite. They are super lightweight and easy to wear on top of your head. I actually purchased the sandals at a TJ Maxx about 3 weeks ago and I also purchased them in another color about a week later because they have become my go to shoe.

The two skincare products I chose are both exfoliating products. Except one is also a mask as well but technically you are supposed to leave both of them on your face for little bit. The Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate treat is a mud mask that you leave on your face for about 10 minutes and when you take is off you are supposed to gently rub your face in circles with water to help exfoliate and remove dead skin. The frank coffee scrub is a scrub that you leave on for about 5 minutes and this product can be used all over the body. It has extra oils in it which help to keep the skin really soft after all of the dead skin has been removed.

And lastly, the two beauty products that I have been loving a lot lately are the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in the shade 112 Natural Ivory and one of the L’Oréal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in the shade 106 Fuchsia Orchestra.  The lip color is really hot pink and the one that I have is actually from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target Collection. By the time I got to my store the only thing that I was able to find was the lip and nail products, which technically were not designed specifically for the collection. The nail colors were just selected to go along with the collection and I already all of them but one so I decided not to get any of those. However, the L’Oréal lip product packaging was designed specifically for the collection.
