My Summer/ Fall 2022 Travel Plans

 Hey Guys!

So I wanted to talk a little bit about my upcoming travel plans! You all know how much I love to travel and go on vacation! lol Except most of the places I am going to will not be new so I don't really count it as traveling so much, just more going back home.

Boston Day 2

On day 2 in Boston we took the train out to Harvard to walk around the campus. I am obsessed with Legally Blonde and even though the movie wasn't filmed there, it is based off of Harvard so it was really fun getting to walk around the campus and the town of Cambridge. We did some shopping at a couple of the bookstores in town. It was also graduation day on campus which is crazy! The whole entire lawn and down the sides of buildings is pretty much covered with chairs for people to sit in. They also have screens for people who don't have a view of the stage can watch people walk across. It made my college graduation look very tiny haha!

We then decided to walk around a bit and find MIT which is kind of spread out a lot more than Harvard. We did go to the MIT museum though. It was kind of fun to explore. They made these little metal creations/machines that would like do different movements. Some of them were a little weird and other ones were super cute.

After that we got an Uber to take us to one of the local malls in the area because we wanted to check out the Pandora store since the one we went to the day before was a bust. They were basically sold out of their entire new collection and everything that had to do with Boston. Thankfully since we had just gone to MIT and seen these cute little machines we saw a very cute Robot charm and that's what we got as our Boston charm. We also checked out the Old Navy while were there and I bought a new dress and we also bought tote bags because they charge for bags in every single store you go in, in Boston. This is not something we knew about before we went so we decided to buy some totes so we could carry those around instead of having to pay for shopping bags everywhere we went.

Next, we headed to the harbor to check out the USS Constitution and the USS Casin Young. Our dad was in the Army so growing we pretty much had to stop at every military related item whenever we would travel somewhere. The ships were only open for like another hour by the time we got there so we had to check them out pretty quickly but both ships were pretty cool. One was more of a modern warship and the other was a really old historic wooden boat. I am awful at stuff like this so I'm not really sure what either one was made out of but I'm sure you get the point haha!

Next we headed to find some dinner and we both really wanted some pizza and we ended up finding a place in like their Little Italy district and the pizza was not very good. Neither of us liked it and I don't think we finished it. We think it had some kind of weird sausage on it and that's what made it taste so strange to us. After, we finished with dinner we headed back to our hotel and called it an early night. Both of us were very tired and we had dinner plans the next night so we figured we might as well rest up!

Thanks for stopping by!

Deleting my Pinterest Wedding Board

Stephainie Kamp Blog: Deleting my Pinterest Wedding Board
Hey guys,

So this post is going to be more of a journal type blog post! So I recently decided to completely delete my wedding board on Pinterest! That's right 1,200 pins and everything idea that I thought was cute probably back from 2012! The colors I wanted, the theme, dresses, floral designs, invitations. Basically you name it and it was on there. And no this doesn't mean that my boyfriend and I have broken up, we're still good! But my reasoning behind deleting is because I want a clean slate. When I created my Pinterest account back in 2012, this was probably my first board. I wasn't dating anyone, I had just graduated from high school and was starting college. My plans were to stay single throughout all of college and then once I was a little more settled to see what happened with life! And that's pretty much what I did. I graduated from college, bought a house with my sister, got a job, and met my boyfriend about a year later! Well we technically had met before but we didn't really get together until later!

Creating a wedding board is great and all if you're with someone and you're able to talk about everything with them. However, all of the ideas that I had in my board were exactly that, they were my ideas. They weren't our ideas. They weren't what we had agreed upon and when you're with someone that's not what it's about. It's about getting to pick things out together and deciding how you want things to go. Unless you have a boyfriend/fiancé that could careless then I guess go ahead and plan by yourself!

Planning is something I'm really into and one of the reasons that I decided to delete it is because I wanted a clean slate. I'm kind of a control freak and I have a lot of anxiety so when something isn't perfect or going my way, I tend to overreact or freak out. It's something I've struggled with my whole life. My mom was telling me this story that I had never heard before but apparently one Christmas I had told her about a doll house to buy me and I guess she had bought me the wrong one and so I basically told her how much she sucked and how she ruined Christmas because of this. Granted now that I'm older and can handle myself a little better, I would definitely never tell her that! I might still think it haha but I would never let her feel bad for getting me the wrong thing. Or at least I would try not to!

But as my boyfriend and I get more serious, I want for us to someday be able to plan things together and come up with ideas as partners. I want for us to pick out colors, invitations, flowers, and all of the necessary things it takes to put on a wedding. I want us to agree on how the wedding should go and what should be done at the wedding. I want everything to be something we decide, except you know the obvious things such as my dress and stuff like that! But everything should be something we want!

I hope you enjoyed this kind of weird post haha! But I thought it was an interesting idea to talk about. But I really need to get more into the fashion side of this blog because I really miss it!

Review of the new Disney World Toy Story Land

Hey guys,

So here is my review of Disney's new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios in Florida! The land opened in July and this was our first time going! We went towards the end of August and it was super hot but I am really glad that we were able to go check out the new land. We got to ride the Slinky Dog Dash but we chose not to ride the Alien Saucers because we don't really like spinning rides like that. We get a little too dizzy and motion sick!

The ride was a lot of fun and I will definitely go on it again. In my opinion, they did a great job making you feel like you are a slinky! My sister and I rode in the very last row of the coaster and when we went over one of the hills it felt like we were going to fall backwards which something that a slinky would do.
Stephanie Kamp Blog: Review of the new Disney World Toy Story Land
They also moved the entrance to Toy Story Mania to be a part of the land which was a great idea because it would have been a total hassle to have to walk around and out of the land just to get on the ride. Also, I think of the benefits of them opening up two new rides is that the wait time for Toy Story Mania went way down. We only waited for about 30 minutes or less each time. It was great! Normally the wait time is ridiculous and it was so hard to get a fastpass even.

They have a place to get food in the new land. It's called Andy's Lunch Box and it's just a small little outdoor sit-down place. We ate there for breakfast and I would definitely like to go back an eat there for either lunch or dinner some time. The food was pretty good and I wanted try some of the items on their lunch menu!

When we sat down for breakfast the green army men came and sat down next to this little boy that was saving a table for his family while they were waiting in line getting food. It was super cute because they tried socializing with him but he was not having it. He basically looked down the whole time and I think he might have been a little sacred the whole time but when they left they tried to steal his chairs and he just sat there. It was so funny, they brought them back of course but they tried so hard to make him laugh!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: Review of the new Disney World Toy Story Land
This was my breakfast! It was actually on the kids menu because I wanted some tater tots and I also didn't want a whole sandwich. The kids menu also comes with a drink which is nice too! I also don't really eat a lot so it's nice to be able to get a kids meal and actually eat the whole thing! I got the s'more sandwich and it was tasty but a little dry. It would have been better with some syrup but it didn't come with any and I didn't feel like asking for any!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: Review of the new Disney World Toy Story Land
So the picture below was taken in the morning at around 7 something! I love the entrance, it is so cute  and a great picture opportunity with a giant Woody!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: Review of the new Disney World Toy Story Land
So I know this isn't the greatest picture but I took it to shower the giant boot print because Disney did such a great at making you feel like you are a toy and that's a human's foot print. They were so creative this part of the park and I can't wait to see the new Star Wars land next fall! I also can't wait to see all of the new things that are coming to all of the Disney parks in the future!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: Review of the new Disney World Toy Story Land
Overall, I highly recommend visiting this part of the park during the day and during the night! Everything is all lit up at night and it's super cute and festive! I hope you enjoyed this post! I plan on writing more Disney posts in the future because I am constantly at Disney and it's one of my favorite places to be!

Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour Miami 2018

Hey guys,

So I recently went to the Taylor Swift Stadium Tour in Miami! It was the most amazing show ever! I absolutely love Taylor Swift and I have been such a big fan since the beginning. I have only been to two of her stadium tours but both of them were absolutely amazing! I wish I could have gone to all of her other tours. The other tour I went to was 1989 and that one was absolutely wonderful too!

So just to let you know, either don't bring a purse or make sure you have a see through purse or just like a wallet! My sister and I brought purses that were a good size but my mom's was too big and we had to put it back in the car! In my opinion they did a terrible job of letting people know about this rule because they had to send so many people back to their cars. They also had a coatcheck area for those that did not have cars or feel safe to leave it in their car.

I am not going to say what songs were sung or what she said! I also didn't really want to post too many pictures that gave away a lot of her surprises but I did include one! My sister actually went to the Tampa show and the Miami show and she didn't reveal any info about the show to me so that way I would be extra surprised!

I was unable to make it to the Tampa show for a complicated reason but the Miami show was amazing and we actually liked it a lot better. It was held at the Hard Rock stadium and the stadium is so much better than the Raymond James stadium. We all kind of agreed that for the next tours we will be going to the Miami show!

Anyways here's some of the photos that I took during the show!

The worst part of the show was when it ended but all good things must come to an end! It was such an amazing show and if you went, I hope you had an amazing time! If you haven't gone and are still deciding if you should go then I highly recommend it! Taylor really knows how to put on a show! Her costume changes are amazing and she's so fast it's crazy! Also her dancers, backup singers, and band are so talented! She always has the craziest stage design and she loves to make sure that she visits all parts of the stadium because she is so dedicated to making her fans happy since they are the reason why she is where she is in life!

New York Summer 2018 Day 5

Hey guys,

So today was our last day in NYC! It was a Monday and our first stop was Good Morning America! We had never done the show before but it is something that I think we're gonna try to do every time we go from now on! It was actually a lot of fun!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5
Debby Ryan and Alyssa Milano were some of the stars that we on the show and it was pretty cool because they walked right by us and stood near us and said hi to us! So that was kind of exciting! Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5
We got to take a picture Ginger Zee so that was fun! She's tanner than us and we live in Florida!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5
We also got a free treat from the show! Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5
So we realized that we hadn't taken a trip to Central Park the entire trip so we hopped in a cab and headed to the park! We found a mini waterfall and it was super cute! I love exploring this park because you find something new almost every time you go! It's definitely one of my favorite parts of the city and I love stopping by every time we go even if its only for a 10 minute walk!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5

Before we went back to our hotel to grab our bags we decided to stop in the Hershey store and get a quick snack! It was absolutely delicious!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 5
So we totally almost were late to our flight! We thought we left with plenty of time but the highway ended up being so busy! We asked our cab driver if he thought we would make it in time and so he eventually started taking short cuts and back streets to make sure that we made it on time! We made sure to tip him very well!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Until next time New York! It's also so hard to leave this city!

New York Summer 2018 Day 4

Hey guys,

So today was our last full day in New York. The last day is always the hardest and the saddest. We always try to make sure that we fit as much as we possibly can into our last full day because who knows when they next time we will be taking a trip to New York again. We did so much on this day and it was such a great day. I have to warn you now but this post is going to contain a lot of pictures compared to the other days! I hope you enjoy them and keep on reading to find out what we did!

So we started off our day by getting on a bus tour of the city. We did this the last time that we were in New York and honestly they're kind of great! This time it actually came free with our hotel because my mom bought this package that she didn't realize she bought so we took advantage of it and took the downtown bus tour and we used it as our transportation to get us down by the water closer to the ferry's so we could take one to Governor's Island.

Once our bus dropped us off we had to walk a little bit to get to our ferry location. We were taking a ferry to and island just outside of the city called Governor's Island. This was the first time we had ever been and it was definitely something I would do again, I would probably just wait until it cooled down. I actually ended up getting sunburnt on this day probably because we spent so much time outside.

Anyways the ferry ride to Governor's Island is super quick and it's a lot of fun. You can bring your bike or kids can bring their scooters. You can also rent bikes once you get to the island if you don't live in the city or near the city and don't have a bike with you. It seemed like there were a lot of things to do on the island, we happened to go on a day where we had a lot of stuff to get done but I'm pretty sure that you could the entire day there. The one thing that we did was a take a free tour of the fort that's on the island. It's technically called a castle but it's more of a fort. We

Also, the ferry ride there is free on the weekends from 10-11:30 am. So we made sure to make it for the 10:30 am ferry!

On the island we ate lunch at a for truck called Taco Vista! And one thing I have to say about New York tacos is that their tacos are definitely not the same as Florida tacos or tacos that I've had other places! I mean they're still good but they are not your regular taco, just warning you!

After lunch we walked about the island more and explored some different parts before we had to head back to the ferry!

Overall, the island was very pretty and I wish we could have had a day to explore the whole thing because I'm pretty sure we barely saw any of it but it was just to darn hot out to even think about spending more time there. If we ever go back in the fall when it's cooled off quite a bit then maybe we can spend a whole Saturday or Sunday there just exploring and see what else there is to do on the island!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 4
After we left the island we headed back into the city to wait in line at the Tickets, Tickets, Tickets booth in Times Square again. This time we got tickets for Chicago! I actually didn't take any pictures of this show at all apparently, my bad! We had never seen Chicago and my mom and I didn't even really know what it was about but we thought it would be a good idea to go see a classic show that pretty much is always showing in New York.

I honestly can't remember what we did after we got our tickets, I kind of want to say that we went back to Macy's to finish up shopping before the show. Since we had gone the night before and we ended up closing down the store there were actually two more floors that we didn't even get to see so we wanted to make sure that we went back to check those out before our show! I'm super glad we did because I ended up finding quite a bit of new stuff for my new job! I'm super excited to wear all of the new clothes that I have purchased recently. I actually think that I'm going to do a haul post showing you everything that I purchased in New York and then maybe another one showing you all of the things I have purchased recently for my new job!

After we finished at Macy's we head back to our hotel to get ready for the show! I don't actually remember what we ended up doing for dinner that night but I'm sure we ate something! Anyways, Chicago was a good show! I really enjoyed the dancing and all of the singing. I honestly had no idea that it was about committing crimes or anything like that but either way it was still fun! I'm really obsessed with the movie Burlesque and it kind of remind me of the same theme minus the crimes!

After the show was over we headed back to our hotel to go to bed because we had to be up kind of early the next day to do something, which will be discussed in my next blog post! But before we made it to our hotel we stopped at Junior's to get some cheesecake because our hotel was actually right across the street from it and they have this super cute to go section where you can buy some items and get them to go! We each got a piece of cheesecake when we really should have shared. I only ended up eating like half of mine because it was so rich and I just could handle all of it. However, it was absolutely delicious!
Stephanie Kamp Blog: New York Summer 2018 Day 4
Here's all of our shopping bags! We did a lot of shopping as you can see! We have this tradition where we take a picture of all of our bags because we always end up doing so much shopping!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Check back on Wednesday to read about our final day in NYC!

Thanks for stopping by!
