Hey guys,
So today’s blog post
is about our last day in NYC during our recent spring break trip. In the
morning we headed to the zoo! It had been a couple years since we had been and
I absolutely love going to the zoo so I really wanted to go back. The CentralPark Zoo is pretty tiny but they do have a lot of animals. I included some of
my favorite photos from the trip! I especially the picture of the peacock
fanning its feathers (sorry for the poor quality photo, the sun was in a
terrible position.)
After the zoo we headed
to The MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) because my dad does not really like the
city but he enjoys going to museums and because of this my mom thought it would
be a good idea to take to The MET since he had never been before. The MET is
huge and you can basically spend an entire day there and probably still not see
everything. We basically stayed there until it was time to go back to our hotel
to get ready for the Broadway show we had tickets for.
In the evening we
went to see Zachary Levi’s new Broadway show She Loves Me. The play was
absolutely adorable and one I totally recommend going to see if you like going
to Broadway shows. And of course I had to break the rules and snap a photo of
the theater even though it said no photography and there were tons of staff
walking around yelling at people to put their away (and no I didn’t get
caught!).
After the play was
over, my sister and I headed to the stage door to try and catch a glimpse of
Zachary Levi (what a cutie!). I snapped a photo of him and a couple other cast
members. Also, we were able to get Zach to sign our playbills!
After we finished at the stage door, we headed back to our hotel room and
headed to bed so we could get up and go to the airport in the morning. While at
the airport I discovered this water called Waiakea. It was so tasty and I know
that sounds really weird but I am really obsessed with water. I love finding
new waters to try!
