Spring Break 2016 NYC Day 1

Hey guys,

So I want to start off by apologizing for the poor quality of some of these photos. They were all taken with my iPhone 6s. I didn’t feel like caring around my DSLR because it’s so heavy and I had been carrying it around with me for the last 6 days.

On this day we flew into JFK in New York and we headed straight to our hotel and then we went to Central Park because we were hoping to make it to the zoo before they closed but unfortunately we didn’t make it in time.

Next, we headed to The Plaza and ate in their Food Hall that is located on the concourse level. At first we had a hard time finding something to eat but eventually we found a pizza place because you can never go wrong with pizza! The pizza place was called Pizza Rollio and we just had a basic pepperoni pizza. It was pretty tasty but the sauce was kind of sweet tasting compared to other pizzas.

Then for dessert my sister and I tried these cake push pops from Billy’s Bakery. I got birthday cake because I love anything birthday cake flavored. It was pretty delicious!

After, dinner we headed to Trump Tower because my dad wanted to go and that’s all I’m going to say about that haha!

The next two images are views of the city from our hotel room that I had to share. There pretty much is no such thing as a bad view from any hotel in NYC! This city is absolutely gorgeous and one that I hope I get to live in someday.

Then we headed back to our hotel to drop of my dad, relax a little, and then us girls (my mom, my sister, and myself) headed to Macy’s to do a little shopping. The city we live in has a pretty tiny Macy’s so whenever we’re in New York we always have to hit up their largest store and see what we can find! We stayed out pretty late considering we gained about an extra 5 hours. We made it back to our hotel room by 10 and then we headed to bed.

I also wanted to add a couple photos that I took in the Dublin airport because how cute are these St. Patrick’s Day decorations. I love that even their airport decorated for their holiday!
