25 Things to Do Before I Turn 25

25 Things to Do Before I Turn 25
Hey guys,

So my sister turns 30 soon and then shortly after I turn 23. We were searching online for things such as "30 Things to Do Before You Turn 30" just for the fun of it and to see if she had accomplished any of the items on people's lists (which she had). So I came up with the idea to create a list of 25 things I want to accomplish before I turn 25. Thankfully I still have a few years left before I turn 25 so hopefully I will be able to accomplish them all. Wish me luck!

1) Travel to Italy

Ever since the movie When In Rome came out, my sister and I have wanted to travel to Italy! We want to go to Rome, Milan, Florence, Naples (because we live so close to Naples, FL), and Venice.

2) Travel to Germany

I am actually part German and my dad lived in Germany for a couple years with the military and he has always wanted to take us there and show us where he lived. I think it would also be pretty amazing to drive on the Autobahn!

3) Travel to Greece

I'm the only family member in my family that wants to travel here so hopefully I will have a friend or husband to visit greece with. I really want to go to Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos.

4) Own a house

My sister and I are currently looking into buying a house right now. We aren't entirely sure what we are going to do or where we are going to live but we have been thinking of buying a house as an investment piece and if we ever decide to move out of Florida then we can keep it and use it as a vacation home.

5) Live somewhere new out of Florida (even if only for a short amount of time)

I have always wanted to live in New York or California so I think it would be amazing if I was able to live in one of those cities for a short amount of time. I would totally be okay with living somewhere new even if it was only for 3-6 months.

6) Get started on my Masters

I hope to start a masters program a year from now. I have always wanted to get my MBA and then eventually my doctorate. My goal was always to get both before I turned 30 but I am not entirely sure what will happen in the future. So as long as if I have my master's by the time I'm 30 and my doctorate by the time I am 40, I think I would still feel just as accomplished.

7) Buy a new car

I have had my car for 9 years now and I really want to buy a new one. Unfortunately, right now is just not the best time. So I'm thinking I will probably buy one within the next couple of years. I am also considering leasing one because I currently have too many cars picked out that I want (haha). I think leasing a car for a year or two would be the best option. Doing this would allow me to lease one car on my list, turn it in after a year, and then pick out another one on my list! I have always wanted to buy (or lease) either a convertible or small SUV, I can't decide!

8) Completely decorate a place with new furniture and have it paid off

I really want to buy some new furniture pieces. I already have a few things picked out, I just need to figure out my living situation for right now. I really want to buy nice pieces from an actual furniture store and not more items from Ikea that scratch anytime you move them an inch.

9) Improve my French or learn the basics of a new language

I spent 4 years in high school learning French and another two semesters in college learning French and yet I still feel like I barely know the language at all. I wish that I had continued practicing it even when I was no longer taking classes but since I wasn't required to, I fell out of the habit of learning more about it.

10) Watch all of the Star Wars Movies

I have only seen the latest movie that was in the theaters last year in 2015 and my sister keeps telling me that I need to watch them. So hopefully I will be able to do that before I turn 25!

11) Make some blogging friends and maybe experience new things because of blogging

So far blogging has been an adventure and I am so glad that I am on it!

12) Help my sister publish her book and then maybe read it (haha)

My sister wrote a book, A BOOK, can you believe that?! A whole book and now we have to figure out how to get it published and then hopefully make a movie!

13) Go on a road trip

My sister and I have this road trip that we have been wanting to take where we visit most of the filming locations for the Nicholas Sparks movies. I have been to quite a few of them already because my dad was stationed in North Carolina for a couple years and my mom and I would also travel up there to visit with him. However, my sister wasn't able to see any of them because she was always working whenever we visited him.

14) Go to a professional hockey game

I've only been to a professional baseball game and a couple of college football games but I have never been to any other sporting event before. I'm not the biggest fan of sports but I've always loved ice skating so I figured I might like hockey because of that (haha)!

15) Go to a professional bull riding event

I watched the Nicholas Sparks movie The Longest Ride (if you haven't seen, then you are seriously missing out) and ever since then I really want to go to a bull riding event. They recently had one where I live but unfortunately it was the same weekend that I went to St. Augustine

16) Go a missions trip

I have always wanted to go on a missions trip but I've always been too scared because I am such a picky eater and I would feel terrible if I end up complaining about food when I'm supposed to be going somewhere new to help out.

17) Volunteer at a Summer camp

I used to attend summer camp every year growing up and there were a couple of times where my mom and sister volunteered at the same camp but I've never volunteered there myself.

18) Buy a Chanel bag

Owning a Chanel bag is definitely one of my biggest fashion dreams! If I do end up owning one, I think I might end up having a mild heart attack over the price but hopefully I'll get over it quickly.

19) Do something that scares me

I'm not really the biggest fan of this one but my sister told me to put it on the list, so there it is!

20) Travel to Colorado with my sister

I believe a part of my sister's book actually takes place in Colorado (I know, I'm such a bad sister for not actually knowing) and so we have talked about visiting it someday so she can actually see the places in real life that she talks about in her book.

21) Go zip lining

I have always wanted to go zip lining and after watching this YouTube Series, I really want to go zip lining in Labadee, Haiti.

22) Go tubing/white water rafting

I have never been tubing (I know, I live in Florida, how have I not done every single watersport?) or white water rafting. I'm kind of scared of white water rafting (maybe this can count towards number 19 and I can knock out two birds with one stone haha) but it's something my sister and I have always talked about doing.

23) Help build a house for Habitat for Humanity

I love helping people and this is something that I have always wanted to do!

24) Pay it forward

Like I said above, I love helping people! I don't know what I will do to "pay if forward" but I will keep you updated!

25) Either be dating, engaged or married

I really hope I am doing at least one of those things. I have been single for a while and that was my choice. I always avoided dating in college because I really wanted to focus on school and traveling as much as possible but as more and more friends are getting engaged and married, I really hope that I am at least dating someone with the idea that we will get married (haha)!

Is there something you think I should do before I'm 25? Or is there something you wish you could do before you turn a certain age? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for stopping by!
Feel free to leave a comment or share this with your friends!
