Life Update June 2018

Hey guys,

So this is my first post of 2018 and it's already June! I know that's really sad! My last post was almost a year ago and I am so disappointed in myself. Don't worry, I have thought about blogging pretty much every day this year and since my last post, I just barely have the time to do anything I really enjoy doing anymore which sad because I only work about 30 hours a week! But life is hectic when you don't work a set schedule and don't know what you'll be working one week from the next. It also can be challenging when you get scheduled to work a lot of weekends and your photographer only has the weekends off!

Again, I know it's been a while and I am super sorry about that! I know I'm always talking about getting back to blogging and on a more regular schedule but this time I'm definitely not going to make any promises! I really can't because right now I have no set schedule with my life. I am still at my job that I've been at for over a year and a half. I only work part time and I'm currently looking for something new right now. I have no idea what I really want to do with my life job wise so it's been kind of challenging trying to find something. I have always loved fashion but I currently don't really enjoy working in the retail world but I do work in a specific part of the retail world so that might be why. 

However, my whole life I've always wanted to open my own clothing boutique and be the Owner and CEO of my own company so my family, boyfriend and I have been slowly working on this and trying to figure out how we start a business. I have quite a few ideas about other projects/jobs that I want to do with this company but my main goal is a clothing boutique! I think I might write a more detailed blog post about this but we'll see!

At the end of this month my boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 9 months together. So far it's been an amazing journey and I can't wait for what the future holds for us. We talk about the future all of the time and we're slowly meeting each others family all of the time! It's great being with someone who is your best friend and you can talk to about anything! Most of his family lives in Boston so hopefully we'll be able to take a trip up there sometime within the next year so I can meet everyone. Pretty much all of my family lives down here so it's a lot easier for him to meet everyone. Both of our jobs don't have set schedules so it can be challenging to see each other sometimes but we make sure to make time for each other! 

So far my sister and I are taking a break on our house! We have been working non-stop every free day or weekend that we have to work on it. Our goal was to have it all done by mothers day and have a huge party where we invite friends and family over to welcome them into our home. However, we didn't end getting everything accomplished by mothers day so instead we had a memorial day party which was a blast! People swam in our pool, we went out on our kayak and people took turns riding around on the jet ski! I can't wait to have another party. I plan on doing a more in depth blog post about our house and what we've done so far so keep an eye out for that! But for now we're taking a break for a few months and we're going to enjoy spending time with our family and friends and we have quite a few trips planned to different places throughout the summer!

I think that's all I have for you for now! I have seriously missed blogging so much! I have a couple post ideas that I'm going to be working on over the next few weeks but I honestly don't know when I'll be able to get back to full time blogging again! I have a lot of ideas and plans for the future and here's hoping they align with what God has planned for me too and I am able accomplish all that I can!
