Inspiration for My Bridal Shower

 Hey Guys!

So today's post is another wedding post and it is the inspiration for my bridal shower! This won't be happening until January but like I've said before I will be home for a few weeks in September and I want to try to get as much planning done and decorations made so I'm not leaving it all to my mom and sister to have to do. And I know technically I'm not really supposed to do that but I feel really bad when people do things for me so I have to help out! Also, I kind of feel like it's my bridal shower and since my parents are paying for everything I feel like the least I can do is help with some of the heavy lifting type work.

Anyways, the theme of the bridal shower is A Day in Paris and it does not go along with my wedding theme at all and I think that's totally fine. I also think it's totally fine if you don't even have a theme at all. I'm just sort of obsessed with Paris and the Eiffel Tower and have been for a very long time so it's kind of an easy, given theme for me to go with. But there will also be French food there as well. We are still planning out the food as this part is kind of challenging because there don't see to be too many French restaurants in the area and we don't really want to cook the day of when we will be hosting a party. But we pretty much have the dessert portion figured out and the hors d'oeuvres part as well. To be honest that's kind of the easy part and my favorite part!

The colors of the party are going to be different shades of pink, rose gold, champagne, and black & white. Black and white are very go to French colors and the average French person tends to wear a lot neutral colors like black and white. However, with that being said there won't really be a specific dress code. There will also be a ton of flowers and balloons everywhere. The shower will be at my mom's house and we will be decorating her pool with some fun things as well.

Here are the inspiration photos that I have found on Pinterest so far!
