Top 10 Non-Animated Disney Movies

Hey guys,

So let me first start by explaining that I'm calling this Non-Animated because I'm not sure what the technical would be for movies like this but I'm not going to call it live-action because technically a live-action Disney movie is all of the animated movies that they have turned into non-animated movies. For example, there is Cinderella the animated version and then there is Cinderella the Live-Action movie with real actors in it and not just their voices with some pictures. Also I'm not going to include their live action movies in this list because they haven't actually made that many of their animated movie into live-action movies. Also, it's because Beauty and The Beast hasn't come out yet and aside from Cinderella I'm sure that will make the top of the list haha.
So to be honest, I haven't seen most of these movies in quite a long time but growing up these are the Disney movies that my sister and Iwould watch over and over again. We loved each and every single one of these and still do. Most of them hold a

1) A Cinderella Story

So this has been my favorite movie for a really long time. If someone ever asks me what my favorite movie is, I always say it's a tie between Scream and A Cinderella story. I used to be obsessed with Hillary Duff and I pretty much still am haha but she is so adorable and I just think that she is a great actress and a really good singer. Plus Cinderella is my favorite animated movie so why wouldn't this be my favorite movie haha. Also not to mention, but Chad Michael Murray is pretty darn gorgeous as well!

2) The Princess Diaries

Ann Hathaway is such a great actress and there's this one line from the movie that my sister and I always quote and its the line where she's standing in front of the mirror and she says "this is as good as it's gonna get" or something like that and then she ends up finding out that she's a princess and in line for a thrown so who knows, maybe if my sister and I say it enough times something magical will happen to us too haha.

3) National Treasure

Honestly, this movie is really good and I love how they get to travel to so many different places just to solve the mystery. Plus this movie is perfect because it has romance, mystery, action and adventure, and it's also pretty funny during some parts.

4) Pirates of The Caribbean

This movie is amazing, of course and so is the ride haha. I haven't seen the last two in the series but I'm sure that they're probably pretty good as well. But the first one is definitely the best because of the actors that are in it. Johnny Depp is an amazing actor but I love the story line with Kierra Knightly and Orlando Bloom.

5) Mary Poppins

This is probably the only Disney where I can just randomly start singing one of the songs because they are so darn catchy. They stick in your head and make you want to sing them. This movie is somewhat educational and so much fun to watch if you're a kid. I haven't seen in a really long time but I'm sure it's just as great now as it was back when I used to watch it growing up.
P.S. Sugar helps the medicine go down! (insert winky smiley face here)

6) The Parent Trap

Even though Lindsey Lohan is kind of annoying nowadays, back in the day she used to be a pretty good actress and there were several of her movies that I used to love watching. I love this one because it's bringing together a family and two sisters that should have never been separated to begin with. It's really quite strange that the two decided that they would split the twins up but then again it's a movie and if they hadn't done that then the movie wouldn't have been made haha.

7) Mighty Joe Young

I barely remember this movie but when I was Googling Disney movies this one popped up and I remembered that I used to like watching this one. I liked it because it's like the nice version of King Kong. It's this big Gorilla that is actually super friendly and protective over the woman that he has spent a lot of time with. Don't mess with him and he won't mess with you which is true with a lot of animals. Also, I really like this movie because I love animals and so it's occasionally fun to watch movies featuring animals as the main character haha.

8) The Pacifier

This movie is so funny and adorable. Plus I love Britany Snow, she is such a good actress and I may or may not have seen like every single movie she's been in and she's been in some interesting ones because she's not as popular as some actresses. However, thanks to Picture Perfect, hopefully she'll get better more popular roles than the ones she used to get haha.

9) Flubber

I honestly don't remember that much about this movie but I know that it was pretty (it has Robin Williams, of course it's funny!) but I know that I've seen it probably at least 25+ plus times. We didn't really grow up with cable tv so I mostly just watched the basic channels or movies whenever I had free time growing up and my mom had a lot of VHS tapes and so did my grandma haha. So we were always watching new movies and this is something that has continued to this day. Expect now that I'm older, I watch more scary movies or movies that are rated R or PG-13 haha whereas when I was younger I was only allowed to watch PG or G.

10) Enchanted

This movie is so funny and cute! I love it mostly because she kind of acts like a dumb blonde (which is me sometimes) since she doesn't really understand what's going on. I also love how she ends up falling in love Patrick Dempsey which is great because his daughter is adorable and needs a woman in her life that is going to love her rather than treat her like a problem, like his girlfriend was doing.

I hope that you guys enjoyed this post! So far I'm reaching my goal of blogging everyday in February, let's see how long I can keep this up! Haha
