Where I Want to Travel Next: USA Edition

1) Massachusetts

There are 3 main cities that I want to explore in Massachusetts, and they include Boston, Cape Cod, and Martha's Vineyard. My sister was actually born in Massachusetts and for her 30th birthday we were supposed to take a trip up there to explore but we ended up buying a house instead. So we will definitely have to plan a trip up there for her 31st! 

The reason I want to go to Cape Cod is because I used to have a dance teacher that was from Massachusetts and her family would always visit Cape Cod at least once a year and it sounded/looked like such a fun place to visit.

When it comes to Martha's Vineyard, I used to watch this reality TV show called The Vineyard that was on ABC Family (now known as Freeform). The show was really cute and was basically a knock off version of The Hills. However, I really liked the show and made it me want to visit the Island.

2) New Orleans, Louisiana

I have been dying to go to the city for quite a while now and my mom actually went a couple of years ago for work and I tried so hard to be able to go with her but unfortunately, I think I had midterms or finals and was unable to make the trip. But I especially want to visit now that they film the TV show The Originals there. I am a major fan of The Vampire Diaries and when they made the spinoff, it was the best news ever. Since the show is actually filmed there, there are several places on my list to visit that are featured on the show. 

3) California

Okay, so I've technically already been to California but it's been over 10 years since I was last there. I don't really remember that much because I was in 5th grade, about to start 6th, so it doesn't really count, right?!

I would love to be able to travel all over California again like we did back in 2005. It was an amazing trip and one that I hope I will be able to take my kids on someday. The only major city we didn't really get to see was San Francisco, so the next time we go I would really like to be able to visit that city as well.

4) Colorado

This is one of the states that I featured on my 25 Things to do Before I Turn 25 blog post. Apart of my sister's book is set in Colorado so she has been wanting to travel there ever since reading about the different cities. I also used to watch the show Make It or Break It with my mom and the show was based out of Boulder so I've wanted to travel there ever since watching the show.

5) Nashville, Tennessee

Technically I've been here as well but it was such a long time ago that I barely remember a single thing. Ever since the show Nashville aired on TV, it really makes me want to visit and explore the city.

I personally really love Tennessee in general and if you are stuck on where to vacation next then I highly recommend looking into Tennessee. It basically has everything a person could want. The city and the country life. Nashville is more of the city side and cities like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are more of your country type cities.

6) Washington

Obviously there is a theme going on here and as I'm sure you have guessed, I want to visit Seattle because of Grey's Anatomy. I don't even think that it's technically filmed there but I totally want to visit it anyways haha. I also really want to visit the state of Washington because of Twilight (don't kill me, haha). After watching that movie along wit several others, Washington looks like such a beautiful and gloomy state and I love it!

7) Connecticut

Gilmore Girls and that's all I'm gonna say haha! No not really, but I totally want to visit Connecticut because of Gilmore Girls. I know for a fact that it is not filmed there because when we went to California we actually visited the set and we got to walk through Stars Hollow and through Richard and Emily Gilmore's living room. It was pretty amazing and the main part of the trip that I will never forget. But Gilmore Girls is based off of Connecticut and thats also where Yale is so it would be nice to visit Yale. 

8) Portland, Oregon

I want to visit this city because my sister and I had a friend who visited not too long ago and her pictures turned our really good. I also hear a lot of good things about Portland and have never been recommended to not go. I also used to watch this TV show called Grimm but unfortunately I fell behind and I haven't watched like the last 2 season. 

9) Rhode Island

I don't really have much to say about this one, I really mostly want to visit it because it's near New York and I would love to be able to explore all of the states up there someday.

10) Utah

The main reason I want to travel here is because YouTuber's Aspyn and Parker Ferris live there and they post some really pretty photos and they travel to do different cities in Utah and feature them on their vlogs. The whole state looks really pretty and like there would be a lot of different hiking opportunities. I absolutely love going to the Grand Canyon and I feel like this state has some similarities to Arizona.
